Salts, Oils, CBD: A Complete Relaxation Solution
We created our CBD-infused epsom salts out of necessity - as an avid user of CBD oils and edibles, I was blown away by the results of topical cannabidiol when travelling the USA last year, and decided I wanted to bring something even better to the UK market.
Personally, I use a full 200g of salts on days where I have trained or am particularly in need of some TLC, however 100g is sufficient for most users. Expect to feel a sense of lightness in your body and some relief from the little aches and pains that are nagging you.
Here at Shake, we try to keep things as minimal as possible - that's why our salts contain just 4, natural ingredients:
- Magnesium sulphate (or epsom salts) to provide pain relief in the muscles and soften the skin.
- Sweet almond oil hydrates the skin, hair and nails.
- 100% pure essential oils in two, handcrafted blends: lavender, jasmine & thyme and lavender, bergamot & sweet orange.
- 100mg of CBD reduces inflammation in the skin and muscles.
The combination of a hot bath, essential oils, epsom salts and CBD will help unwind and prepare you for an excellent night's sleep. Simply pour your salts under some running water (I run a little water into the bottle to make an easy-pouring solution, but whatever works for you) and soak for 15-20 minutes.
Sweet almond oil is hydrating and silky, but it is also very slippery when getting out the bath, so be careful! Rub the oil into your skin after your bath to lock-in moisture.
The majority of cheap, store bought epsom salts are packaged in plastic that is difficult to recycle. All our glass bottles are handcrafted & hand-labelled in Liverpool, and can be washed and reused. Some handy ideas on how to do so can be found here.
2 x 200g bottles retail for £15.99 on our website, and you can get a further 10% off using code ‘SHAKE10’. These make the perfect gift for a loved one (or yourself!)
